Chinese rescue teams complete earthquake relief mission in Myanmar and return home safely

On the afternoon of April 9, the Chinese rescue team, the China International Rescue Team, and the rescue team from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, which had been conducting earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar, successfully completed their international rescue mission and arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport aboard four Chinese Air Force Yun-20 aircraft.

It is understood that during the earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar, the Chinese rescue team, the China International Rescue Team, the Yunnan rescue medical team, the rescue team from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and 10 social emergency response forces worked together to successfully rescue 9 survivors, including a pregnant woman, recovered 59 bodies, searched and inspected 287,000 square meters of houses and important infrastructure, and provided medical treatment to more than 2,000 disaster victims.
