       According to the official determination of the China Earthquake Networks Center, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake occurred at 8:04 pm on February 20 in Jinfeng District, Yinchuan City, Ningxia, with a focal depth of 15 kilometers. Many netizens reported that the earthquake was clearly felt in Yinchuan. When the earthquake occurred, a high-speed train bound for Yinchuan was running, and many passengers did not notice the tremor, but the train was delayed by nearly two hours.

After the earthquake, the Ningxia Earthquake Administration immediately activated the whole region's "three networks and one member" earthquake disaster information rapid reporting network to quickly collect disaster information, understand the impact of the earthquake, and dispatched a field team to the epicenter to verify the disaster situation. It also quickly conducted joint emergency consultations with the China Earthquake Networks Center to strengthen earthquake monitoring and post-earthquake trend analysis.

　　Through comprehensive analysis and judgment, it is believed that this earthquake belongs to the earthquake sequence of the 4.8-magnitude earthquake in Yongning and the 4.6-magnitude earthquake in Jinfeng on January 2, and is a strong fluctuation activity in the attenuation process. There is still a possibility of fluctuation activity in this sequence in the future, and there is still a possibility of earthquakes with noticeable tremors in the next few days.
