Working principle of infrared thermal imager for fire fighting

Firefighting infrared thermal imagers refer to infrared thermal imagers that meet the standards of "Public Security Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China: Infrared Thermal Imagers for Fire Fighting (GA/T 635-2006)". This standard was proposed by the Fire Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security on August 29, 2006, and officially implemented on January 1, 2007.

 

Firefighting thermal imagers actually utilize the principle of infrared thermal imagers. Infrared thermal imagers use infrared detectors and optical imaging lenses to receive the infrared radiation energy distribution pattern of the target being measured, reflecting it onto the photosensitive elements of the infrared detector to obtain an infrared thermal image. This thermal image corresponds to the thermal distribution field on the surface of the object. In simple terms, an infrared thermal imager converts the invisible infrared energy emitted by an object into a visible thermal image. Different colors on the thermal image represent different temperatures of the object being measured.

In addition to meeting the standards for firefighting infrared thermal imagers, the Beijing Shengbolan HRYXJ-R550 firefighting infrared thermal imager has undergone a series of product upgrades to enhance its effectiveness in actual rescue operations.

Beijing Shengbolan The HRYXJ-R550 firefighting infrared thermal imager uses a 4.3-inch ultra-large LCD screen, supports photo and video recording, and is equipped with large storage space. The image processing uses dual-band fusion technology, with a resolution of 384*288. It supports multiple scene modes and is equipped with WiFi transmission, laser ranging, and compass functions.
